So yes, we think every workplace can benefit from a HealthPartners campaign.
Because we make giving easy for your entire workplace. No reminders or chasing donations. No mailing cheques. With automated payroll deductions, giving is simple and consistent.
Employees choose where their money goes or they can support the collective impact.
And every dollar changes lives across Canada.
Our reach is national, but it’s felt locally. When you give, you support programs that help people living with chronic disease. And you also fund research for all Canadians.
Illness affects us all. And as Canada’s population ages, diseases like cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s are going to rise. Your support is vital for the research and support that make a difference today.
Supporting HealthPartners means helping the 87% of people in Canada most likely to face one of the illnesses we’re fighting as a collective. At the same time, some may want to support a single health charity. We can help them do that.
We have a four-star rating from Charity Intelligence Canada. That’s because we put donations to work. Our costs and admin fees are just 11%.
When we fund a health charity it lowers their fundraising costs. They don’t spend as much on advertising because workplace donations fund them. So they can focus more on research, programs, services, and advocacy.
Your donation delivers great value. Over 600,000 employees across Canada have contributed more than $230 million dollars through HealthPartners.
Transparency matters. A Board of Directors oversees us and we report directly to the health charities we support through annual accountability reporting.
Our Board of Directors reviews applications for new members. To be considered, they must fund peer-reviewed research, offer public education and health promotion programs and provide support services and programs in the community – both for those living with serious illness and those who care for and support them.
Employees want choice. 71% prefer donating to causes they care about, and we make that possible with Canada’s top health charities. 97% of companies offering choice see more participation, and 66% have better morale.
79% of companies that added choice to their campaigns saw donations increase.
Not at all. The single interface we provide for your employees to support HealthPartners can also host the other charity or charities your company wants to support. We believe choice matters, and are ready to work with you on the approach that works best.
60% of Canadian employees live with a chronic illness. 9 out of 10 people in Canada will need the services our collective provides at some point. That’s 9 out of 10 of your employees.
Plus, chronic disease costs Canadian businesses $90 billion a year in treatments and lost productivity.
Building a healthier Canada affects all of us.
A workplace giving campaign with us is plug-and-play. We’ll provide the tools and supplies your company needs, the speakers to inspire your team, the expertise to make your campaign a success, and the admin support to make giving easy and seamless.
