FAQs

The Health Advisory Network is our new online community. We built it just for people with health conditions and caregivers. It lets them share their experiences online through surveys and consultations. Our goal is to see these insights improve Canada’s healthcare system.

You are eligible to join if:

  • You have now or in the past had a health condition for which you were treated,
  • OR
  • You act as a caregiver (formally or informally) for someone being treated for a health condition, AND
  • You live in Canada.

By joining, you can:

  • Share your experiences to help improve healthcare in Canada.
  • Be paid for your time and input in surveys and consultations.
  • Participate easily from the comfort of your home on your laptop or device.
  1. Fill out a quick intake form found here,
  2. Once accepted, you will receive opportunities to participate in paid surveys or consultations.

Participation is always optional, and you can opt out at any time by emailing network@healthpartners.ca

Yes, your responses in surveys and consultations will always remain confidential and anonymous.

There’s no fixed time commitment. You’ll get occasional invitations for surveys or consultations. You can decide when to participate based on your schedule.

All participants will receive payment for their time and input. Payment details will be shared with each survey or consultation invitation.

The insights collected will be used to inform healthcare decisions and improve services across Canada.

Your data is stored on HealthPartners’ secure system and only a small, authorized team can access it. Your personal details and survey answers are stored separately using a process called tokenization. This means your real identity is replaced with a unique ID, keeping your information safe.

Please direct any questions to network@healthpartners.ca and a member of our staff will get back to you as soon as possible.
