HealthPartners Announces New Chief Impact Officer
HealthPartners’ Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Shauna Almas as Chief Impact Officer (CIO), effective February 2, 2026.
Shauna served most recently as Interim Chief Executive Officer where she led our Health Collective with a steady hand and calm focus during one of the most demanding periods in the organization’s recent history, delivering a strong financial performance, maintaining a positive culture, and driving meaningful results for our 20 national health charities and for the people we collectively support every day.
“Shauna stepped up at an extraordinary moment for HealthPartners and provided exactly the leadership the organization needed,” said Michael Sangster, Chair of the HealthPartners Board. “Her ability to stabilize, align, and lead through complexity was critical. The Chief Impact Officer role recognizes both the leadership she has demonstrated and the importance of continuity and execution moving forward.”
This newly created role recognizes the strong leadership role Shauna has played throughout her tenure at HealthPartners as well as our ongoing commitment to delivering results, revenue, and scalable impact for our members and the communities they serve.
