HealthPartners’ Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Margaux Stastny as Chief Executive Officer, effective February 2, 2026. We are delighted to welcome Margaux to HealthPartners at such an important moment for our organization.  Her experience and collaborative leadership will help advance our mission and the success of our members across Canada.

–  Michael Sangster, Chair of the HealthPartners Board

For nearly four decades, HealthPartners has brought leading health charities together to inspire generosity in workplaces and communities, supporting research, advocacy, education, programs and services that touch millions of lives each year. The organization will embark on a new strategic planning process this year, with stakeholder engagement beginning in February to help shape priorities through 2026 and beyond.

I’m honoured to join HealthPartners and this remarkable collective of charities. I look forward to working with members, partners, volunteers, and staff to build on the organization’s strong foundation and to grow the impact we deliver together for Canadians.

–  Margaux Stastny, HealthPartners’ CEO

The Board extends its sincere gratitude to Shauna Almas for her leadership as Interim CEO.  She guided HealthPartners with a steady hand and calm focus during a significant period for the organization, delivering a strong financial performance, maintaining a positive culture, and meaningful results for the 20 national health charities and those across Canada they collectively serve.  Shauna will continue to serve as Chief Impact Officer (CIO).
