• This expansion enables HealthPartners to reach even more workplaces, raise more funds and support an even greater number of people affected by serious health conditions.

Ottawa – April 7, 2025 – HealthPartners is proud to announce three new esteemed charities are joining its membership: Canadian Blood Services, CNIB, and Osteoporosis Canada. This expansion marks another transformative step forward in our mission to create a healthier Canada and support people in Canada living with serious health conditions.

“With nearly 90% of people in Canada likely to be affected by one of the conditions we fundraise for, the need for our collective efforts has never been greater,” said Kimberley Hanson, CEO of HealthPartners. “By joining forces with these charities, we’re broadening our reach and impact, empowering workplaces, and driving more donations for health charities who provide crucial services, education and medical research.”

With this expansion, a single donation to HealthPartners will have an even greater impact, supporting a broader range of causes. Donors can contribute to the collective fund or choose to direct their support to specific charities within our network, giving them more flexibility and choice in how they make a difference.

Canadian Blood Services

“Joining HealthPartners allows us to amplify the message that it takes donors of all kinds to support patients who rely on or may come to need blood products. We look forward to a partnership that furthers our mission as Canada’s Lifeline to provide essential biological products for patients when and where they need them, all across the country.”– Dr. Graham Sher, CEO, Canadian Blood Services.

CNIB

“By partnering with HealthPartners, we can expand our efforts to ensure that people living with sight loss have access to the tools, training, and support they need to live the lives they choose. This collaboration will open doors to new opportunities.” – Angela Bonfanti, President and CEO, CNIB.

Osteoporosis Canada

“Our work to reduce the burden of osteoporosis takes on new strength with HealthPartners. Together, we’re empowering individuals and workplaces to prioritize bone health and prevent fractures before they happen.” – Dr. Famida Jiwa, President and CEO, Osteoporosis Canada.
