Muscular Dystrophy Canada (MDC) and Jesse's Journey are very pleased to join forces to share information on returning to school for children with neuromuscular disorders. Many parents, caregivers, and guardians face new and difficult choices about how their child will return to school in the fall, such as deciding between in-person, virtual learning and home school.
This presentation is designed to help parents, caregivers, and guardians of children with neuromuscular disorders weigh the risks and benefits of available educational options to help them make decisions about sending their child back to school.

Learn about the role of diet in IBD, as well as critical research into novel dietary therapies for the prevention and management of IBD that is funded by Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
Experts will discuss the relationship between dietary fats, inflammation, and gut microbiome. They will also provide updates on their lab's research into the effects of dietary fats on colitis using the Mediterranean diet. The Mediterranean diet pattern is widely suggested as an ‘anti-inflammatory’ diet. Registrants will have the opportunity to get their questions answered by the experts during a live Q&A period.

Diabetes Canada’s No Limits with T1D Conference is an annual educational event, specifically geared towards people living with type 1 diabetes, and their support network. Bringing the type 1 community together, this two-day event features expert speakers on diabetes management, information on diabetes-related products and services, and the latest breakthroughs in research. In accordance with guidelines from the World Health Organization and Public Health Agency of Canada, Diabetes Canada is taking this year’s conference on-line, presenting our first virtual conference in support of the type 1 community across Canada.
