In 1986 her career focused on leadership, crisis resolution, strategy development and its execution. For approximately nine years Charlotte worked in leadership roles in a variety of sectors, including the arts, education, tourism and health.
She returned to Heart & Stroke as CEO in PEI in 2005. In that role she led the PEI Heart & Stroke advocacy campaign to establish province wide integrated stroke care.
